Description Forests containing archaeological sites are currently affected by logging and planting. Greater attention is required to prevent damage to archaeological sites where intensive methods of forest management are used. Intensive study of a defined region is based on systematic monitoring of logged areas including aboveground anthropogenic remains, such as relief formations, soil preparation monitoring and also natural forest erosion. The quantification and systematic localisation of all information is taken for granted. An intensive survey of Tvořihrázský forest in the area of Těšetice-Kyjovice has been under way since 2007. The survey included the identification of anthropogenic reliefs. Along with two famous hill-forts, six locations with barrows were identified. One new locality with prehistoric settlement was recognized. Two barrows in the area of Purkrábka were damaged by ploughing. Currently are barrows marked with coloured spray before logging activities to prevent them from damages.
