| Description | The aim of the presented article is the analysis of the foundation and development of one of the first museum and museum workers interest groups in the Czech lands - the German-Moravian Local Museums Association. It tries to introduce this association as a specific organizational unit with ambitions to influence the activities of the museums associated in it, as well as the opinions of the contemporary society on the function and mission of museum institutions in the society at that time. |
