Description Until recently, fungal infections was domain in hematooncology patients. Thanks to advances in medicine, patients survive today, who would a few years ago had a better chance of survival. Therefore, it is beginning to emerge relatively new infectious complications in severely burned patients who are not, unlike cancer patients, so burdened with high risk of neutropenia. The most common isolated micromycetes in burns patients are Candida spp. and Aspergillus spp. Zygomycetes include global rather rare isolation (up to 2% of all fungi). In the case report we present a case severely burned patient who despite all negative factors and isolation zygomycet were survived.
