Description With two waves of religious conversions of intellectuals in France at the turn of the 19th and 20th century, the relationship between man and God become also the theme of literary works. According to Paul Claudel, the duty of a Christian is to put his or her talent to the service of God. The example of a perfect implementation of this attitude is the poetry of Marie Noël. This study is an analysis of three aspects of subjectivity found in her work: 1 / expression of her great desire to love and to be loved, confronted with the notion of the death, 2 / uncertainty about her work of a poet, and 3 / darkness of her faith.
