| Description | Dihydroisojasmonate, i. e. methyl-2-hexyl-3-oxocyclopentane carboxylate, is fragrance for parfume compozitions. One-pot synthesis of dihydroisojasmonate starting from 2-hexylcyclopent-2-ene-1-one via 2-hexyl-3-oxocyclopentane carbonitrile was demonstrated, yield of final product was 85 %. |
