| Description | International Movement Disorders Society (MDS) revised scales for rating of Parkinson's disease signs in 2001. Certain signs were added to the Unified Parkinson's disease rating scale (UPDRS) and certain weak points and ambiguities were defined. According to these suggestions a creation of a new scale that would keep benefits of existing UPDRS, but would solve mentioned issues, was proposed. This new scale is known as MDS-UPDRS |
