Description This article deals with the presentation of the Jewish and non-Jewish childhood during the Second World War in the German children and juvenile literature. The most important features and differences of both literatures were defined and with help of various examples of the primary literature substantiated. An extra attention was aimed at the Diary of Anne Frank. By the Comic-version of the Diary of Anne Frank I observed the methods and procedures how the old becoming topics of the juvenile literature to develop them attractive for young readers. Finaly I compared critically the content of the Diary of Anne Frank with the Comic-version of the book.
