| Description | This paper provides ethnographically oriented view of the particular student radio at Masaryk University, which combines principles of college radio and community radio – Radio R. Exploring the contact area between art community and students, this study brings an unique case in context of media environment in Czech Republic. On the basis of long-term observations, it brings a critical perspective of the role of the radio as an important activity for education and self-realization. The article concludes, that social cohesion and interaction are dominant aspects of integration of art community into the medium. |
