What risks and penalties do I face if I am found to have plagiarised?

Penalties for plagiarism are already established at the level of copyright law. From the point of view of studying and producing final bachelor's, master's and dissertation theses, or other works within the framework of studies, plagiarism is one of the basic offences against academic morals and therefore has its place among the offences in the disciplinary regulations of each faculty. A disciplinary offence may be punishable by a warning, by suspension from studies with a time limit and conditions for certification, or even by expulsion from studies if it is clear that the disciplinary offence was committed intentionally.
