Where and how are MU papers inspected?

Seminar papers, assignments and essays are checked by users in the so-called Submissions (folders for automated collection of assignments) or in their personal space (My Web or Luggage). Checking of final theses takes place directly in the MU Thesis Archive. The check is usually carried out by the thesis supervisor.

The responsibility of the supervisor or supervisor for the inspection is enshrined in Article 40 of the MU Study and Examination Regulations, which also regulates the obligation to publish final theses. The MU University Repository for Recording Publication Activity with the possibility of collecting and accessing full texts of scientific publications also offers the possibility of checking the similarity of the text.

The matching algorithm is gradually being improved and the common linked database of matched documents is being extended. This database includes the works of schools that use the system for detecting plagiarism in final and graduate theses Theses.cz, the system for detecting plagiarism in seminary, graduation and high school theses or other documents Odevzdej.cz and also the system Repozitar.cz focused on habilitation and scientific publications. The system compares documents with other data repositories and sources on the Internet. Further details can be found in IS in the Searching for Similar Files section of the File Manager.
