Under what conditions can I apply to not repeat a failed course?

You can only exercise your right to request that a failed course not be repeated for courses that are elective in relation to your studies. If you meet the minimum number of compulsory elective courses set by the programme, then each additional compulsory elective course is already an elective course, and you can apply for a waiver of the obligation to repeat the course - see examples 1 and 2 in Article 20 of the MU SER for details. This option cannot be used for subjects that are compulsory in relation to your studies.

You may request to repeat a course more than once during your studies, up to a total of one tenth of the minimum credit value of your studies. Thus, if the minimum credit value of the Bachelor's degree is 180 credits, you can request not to repeat courses up to a total of 18 credits, in the case of the follow-up Master's degree (which has a minimum credit value of 120 credits) up to a total of 12 credits, etc.
