Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology

Employment:                     full-time

Job Summary

• • Teaching at bachelor's and master's level at Masaryk University in Brno
  • Teaching compulsory subjects with a strong focus on quantitative research methods, sociology of family, and population studies
  • Supervision of bachelor's and master's theses
  • Responsibility for administrative tasks related to the study program
  • Research and publishing activities
  • Place of work – Brno

Requirements:

• PhD in sociology or a related field
• Focus on teaching and research in population studies, sociology of family, and quantitative research methods
• Ability to teach in English; experience working with international students is an advantage
• Relevant publications in sociology or a related field.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
