Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology

Employment:                      full-time

Job Summary

• Teaching at undergraduate and graduate level at Masaryk University in Brno
• Teaching of the mandatory courses in English with strong focus on the cultural sociology
• Supervising Bachelor and Master's theses
• Responsibility for an administrative agenda related to the study program
• Research and publication activities
• Place of employment - Brno

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Sociology or related discipline
• Focus on teaching and research in the field of cultural sociology, social theory, or mixed research methods;
• Ability to teach in English; work with international students is a plus
• Relevant publication record in sociology or related discipline
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
