Programming in UNIX and system management II (in Czech)
The course will provide the participants with basic information about UNIX system administration, its operation in a network, programming network applications over the BSD sockets interface, as well as information about the operation of some network protocols (SMTP, HTTP, NFS, etc.) and their use and management on UNIX operating systems.

Scheduling (in Czech)
The course will provide knowledge about various types of scheduling problems from both a theoretical and practical perspective, it will show general solution methods used for scheduling problems as well as the most important approaches used for specific scheduling problems in practice.

Digital System Architecture
The participants will learn about the structure and the design of systems for selected microcomputers or FPGA, they will learn to program them and at the end of the semester, they will create their own project. The lessons will be held in the EmLab.

Principles of Computer Graphics
The aim of the course is to give the participants an overview of the basic algorithms and methods for rendering and data representations used in computer graphics. The gained knowledge will enable the students to understand a vast range of computer graphics tasks, including their mathematical background.
