Effective Practices for Increased Inclusion in Schools

The summer school is specifically designed for teachers, future teachers, teacher assistants, academics and, students, NGO represents as well as other persons who are interested in inclusion. This course is suitable for people with intermediate knowledge about inclusive education from the Czech Republic as well as abroad.
Faculty of Education will be hosting highly acclaimed experts from the University of Minnesota: Renáta Tichá, PhD, and Brian Abery, PhD, will introduce the basic principles of inclusive education and formative approaches to assessment. Participants will become better acquainted with a variety of intervention techniques that can be used in regular classrooms to support positive outcomes for all students. The main goal of this course is to support the educational inclusion of children from diverse backgrounds and children with disabilities.
