Competition: Grant Thermo Fisher Scientific for Young Scientists

Thermo Fisher Scientific announced a competition for young scientists for a two-year grant of 200,000 crowns. Until 31 May 2020, all scientists under 30 years of age using electron / ion microscopy or directly using electron microscope, XPS, μCT and nanoCT results may submit applications.

Ignaz L. Lieben Award 2020

Award is granted to young scientists who have been working in the last 3 years in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, or Austria. Candidates should not be older than 40 years, have completed their doctorate and made outstanding contributions to the fields of molecular biology, chemistry or physics.

Entrepreneurial Head 2020

The aim of the competition is to support beginners and experienced entrepreneurs and appreciate the best business plan. The main prize is CZK 70,000, an annual lease of office space worth CZK 88,000 and an annual consulting service worth CZK 130,000.
