At present, system solutions for co-operation of responsible local and regional authorities with civic cubjects in the building and operation of sport facilities are not defined. According to the investigations which has been done in the South-Moravian region by a co-author of project, following types of sport facilities occur most frequently: playgrounds for football, tennis courts and with most schools, gymnasiums. Other types of sports facilities are in most cases missing. The given project endeavours to define a system of relations and bonds between the organs of state administration and self-government on one side and the subjects managing free-time sports activities and educational process of the population of all age-groups in the area of material provision on the other side.
