General goal of this project is equalizing of opportunities in higher education for students with disabilities in the Republic of Croatia through realisation of several specific goals of the project:

• Enhancement of existing and development of new forms of support in equalizing opportunities for students with disabilities in Croatian universities;
• Initiation of creating new national standards and guidelines for improving accessibility of higher education for students with disabilities (proposal for a national document);
• Ensuring accessibility, sustainability and quality of systems of support for equalizing opportunities for students with disabilities in a higher education system in the Republic of Croatia.

Specific goals of the project will be realized through following outcomes and outputs of the project:

• Initiated university course Peer support for students with disabilities;
• Created and distributed educational materials about possibilities of adapting academic surroundings to students with disabilities;
• Educated and sensitized representatives of universities and their member faculties for enhancement of accessibility and quality of higher education for students with disabilities;
• Created proposal for a national document - national standards and guidelines for the development of accessibility to higher education for students with disabilities and initiated a procedure for its adaptation.
