Symplectic diference system, discrete quadratic functional, asymptotic and oscullation theory, quaslinear difference equations, dynamic equations on time scales

The aim of the project is to investigate difference equations and dynamic
equations on time scales with a particular attention devoted to
the following problems:

  • nonnegativity of discrete quadratic functionals and symplectic difference

systems in the discrete calculus of variations and discrete optimal control,

  • oscillation and asymptotic properties of solutions of linear, half-linear

and quasilinear second order difference equations,

  • asymptotic properties of linear and nonlinear difference systems,
  • symplectic dynamic systems on time scales: oscillation and transformation


  • second order dynamic equations on time scales.
