With decreased funding we plan to continue in formalizing the innovative model of financial education for adults in the Czech Republic that relies on trained university students to disseminate knowledge to low-income individuals. Our aim is to proceed in our systems change efforts deepening the relationship with important stakeholders such as Ministry of Finance and recommend this program as national standard in financial education to low-income adults. University students will receive desired skills and knowledge in a specially designed financial
education course and gain a certificate, which will enable them to deliver seminars and consultation on financial education and debt to low-income individuals. The students will deliver financial education in partnerships with NGOs which will be established during the course of the program as well as individually in local communities. Trained students delivering the financial education will receive continuous support from the university and will be closely monitored. New
students will be enrolled and receive training.
