Projekt je připravován v rámci konsorcia EU-life (http://eu-life.eu/) spolu s dalšími 12 institucemi. Projekt je koordinován ze strany (CRG http://eu-life.eu/institution/center-genomic-regulation).
Our main goal is to implement innovative Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) that will allow us to empower female researchers to achieve successful career in science, remove gender barriers and biases at institutional level, and raise awareness about gender aspects in scientific projects. As intermediate objectives, we will: 1) conduct an initial external assessment for each partner organization to identify gender bias at institutional level, and run a tailored version of the Gender Career-Family Implicit Association Test (IAT, https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/education.html) to thoroughly analyze the current cultural and institutional attitudes towards gender issues in the partner organizations; 2) design and implement innovative strategies, including notably training programs on gender issues and gender in research, mentoring schemes, family-friendly policies and workshops on case studies analysis; and 3) define targets, agree on quantitative and quality indicators, monitor results, and reach sustainability of the project.
