The Quality of Instruction and Curriculum in selected School Subjects

The aim of the project is to establish a shared basis for research in field didactics at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University and so to support cooperation in research within the Faculty. The project concentrates on the topic of quality of instruction and curriculum research in selected school subjects. Partial aims of the project are the following: a) to define the state of the art in quality of instruction and curriculum research in the Czech republic and abroad; b) to formulate theoretical and conceptual background for empirical research into the quality of instrucion and curriculum; c) to formulate concrete research aims and questions for the following research project (2009) that will be aim at quality of instruction and curriculum in selected school subjects; d) to design methodology for research into the quality of instruction and curriculum in selected school subjects which would be employed in the following project (2009).
