The aim of the project is to create and test an active system to monitor temporary external pacemakers linked to local information system of a health facility in a form enabling the market entry. The product will monitor activity and correct function of pacemakers for temporary cardiac electric stimulation for patients during medical treatment or pending for permanent pacemaker implantation. The project will be focused on the development of HW and SW of equipment comprising the surveillance system able to receive the signal from the pacemakers with the communication superstructure, and an application configurable to compatibility with the local information system. The product will also contain software for statistical evaluation of risk reporting and the pacemakers’ durability prediction.
