The aim of the project is to develop a new bachelor-level course ‘European societies’ taught in English at the Department of Sociology. The course will focus on social stratification in a comparative Europe-wide perspective. Besides deepening students’ knowledge on the topic, it will strengthen their skills at data analysis, academic writing and presentation, and independent thinking. Furthermore, participation of two doctoral students is envisioned.
