Learning Hyperspace for Formative Assessment and Inquiry Based Science Teaching
The aim is to create hyperspace for (student) teachers focused on implementing inquiry-based teaching and formative assessment in
primary and lower secondary instruction. Users will be provided with opportunities to develop knowledge and skills through working
with video recordings of instruction or pre-designed learning tasks. They will learn to elaborate learning progression maps. Moreover,
teaching materials, worksheets, diagnostic instruments for monitoring formative learning climate, etc., and other resources will be
available. The level of “WHAT” and “HOW” in inquiry-based science teaching and formative assessment will be complemented by
information necessary for understanding educational and psychological background of “WHY” and “WHEN” the work through these
methods is effective.
