Romance literatures of America and Africa offer the possibility to re-examine the post-colonial situation and examine the constants and variables of developmental tendencies. This is due to both the variability of the peripheries and the centers, some of which have semi-peripheral status. In creation and in critical thinking, these literatures are a source of new theoretical concepts that surpass postcolonial theories. In the Romance literatures, a new distribution of relationships is also currently taking place, influencing the original European centers retroactively. An analytical comparison of the development of the last three decades in individual areas (Quebec, Central and South America, the Caribbean, the Maghreb, sub-Saharan Africa, European centers) will lead to the publication of a synthetic monograph in the Czech version, which will expand conceptually and methodologically Czech critical thinking, and in the English version, which will be a contribution to comparative studies and a deeper reflection on world literature.
