The project will be the continuation of our current Erasmus+ project “New skills for the next generation of journalists” which have operated from August 2017 till August 2020 in a consortium consisting of journalism researchers and educators from the University of Pécs, the University of Bukarest, the University Institute of Lisbon and the Erich Brost Institute for international journalism at TU Dortmund University. Masaryk University, through Department of Media studies and journalism will join in the consortium and the current project will further develop e-learning-materials for the field of journalism which are – as an analysis at the beginning of our project showed – underrepresented in academic journalism education in our countries, e.g. “ethical challenges for journalists in the digital age”, “new business models”, “data journalism” and “collaborative cross-border journalism”.
Sustainable Development Goals
Masaryk University is committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to improve the conditions and quality of life on our planet by 2030.
