The project lies in the qualitative theory of linear and non-linear equations. The attention is mainly paid to the oscillation theory of Euler type half-linear differential and difference equations, where the half-linear equations are an intensively studied combination of linear and non-linear ones. The goal is to initiate a new international scientific cooperation and to obtain oscillation or non-oscillation criteria in the half-linear case which are new in the linear case as well.
