The main theme and principal subject of the project is the "curriculum vitae " of the third Marvin margrave Vladislav Jindřich based on the contemporaneous political, social and cultural context which had a formative impact on the Czech state on the thre shold of the Late Middle Ages. Rather than mere characteristic of the personality of the Moravian margrave, the research objective is a comprehensive and objective outline of the situation in Central Europe on the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries.
