The main goal of the project is the research of new ways of so-called implicit (unconscious) motor learning. Implicit learning leads to automation of movement habits, which in a broader context means more effective movement expression and accelerated regeneration in the case of impaired motor functions. The project is focused on determining the effect of previous physical fatigue on the ability of implicit learning, which will be compared with the ability to learn in a situation when a simultaneous secondary cognitive task is added (dual-task procedure). The added secondary cognitive task is already widely used in research and practice to speed up and streamline the learning process. Nevertheless, theoretical indications and research results also point to a significant positive effect of physical fatigue on learning and memory functions. However, a comparison of these two approaches and increasing their potential for use in practice is lacking. The main benefit of the project is the expansion of knowledge in the field of motor learning and the possibility to apply this acquired knowledge in the practice of movement specialists.
