The aim is to foster the education of students by organizing a Summer School on Biological and Medical Visualization. It will help to bridge the gap between visualization research and its practical usage in biology and medicine. The Summer School is targeted at bachelor, master, and starting doctoral students. It will be organized by a team of researchers from established biomedical research groups who will give lectures, study materials, and tutorials. The participants will benefit from the actual presence by discussing their studies and projects with senior experts and their peers. They will also learn how to apply the theoretical knowledge to the practical challenges of biomedical data visualization analysis.
