Balancing work and family obligations is highly uneasy for women in science. Being able to delegate and finance preschool childcare is key for restarting an academic career. Quick return to full-time work is necessary to retain the position of Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator at the Department of Histology and Embryology, Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University, ensure the competitiveness of my scientific projects, novelty of publications and motivation of my research team and clinical collaborators.
