The project “Open Round Table of Museology” was successfully implemented within the AKTION cooperation Czech Republic–Austria in 2016 and 2017 and followed up in 2022. With this renewed project we build on our cooperation and deal with other issues of contemporary museology, specifically concerning the museum presentation activities. In the project implemented in 2023 we will focus on museum presentations, the history of museum and monument presentation and modern trends of museum presentations and exhibition-display. The project will reflect on this issue in university courses and a joint project meeting of students and teachers of both universities in autumn 2023 at the University of Graz. The “open round table” discussion will be the culmination of our cooperation, students and researchers will focus on the analysis and critical reflection of the established theses of this scientific discourse.
