In this project, we intend to compile studies from linguistics and from neuroscience about rereading. Our aim is to put the spotlight on this activity, which has received little attention from researchers. One might get the impression that neuroscience has taken the subject in hand, given the relatively large number of articles it has produced. But work on rereading represents a tiny fraction of the total number of articles produced by this trendy discipline. As for the humanities, studies on rereading are not legion either. However, this low density will enable a homogeneous grasp of the subject, and leave more room for detailed argumentation.
