This project will contribute to the development of the essays for my dissertation, which is structured as a collection of three studies in health economics. The first paper evaluates the causal impacts of the eRecept reform, which introduced mandatory electronic prescriptions for medicines. The second paper models primary care accessibility in the context of an ageing population. The third paper examines the impact of air quality on the health and economic status of the elderly population.

This project will support my professional development, as I plan to use the resources to finance advanced courses at the University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Economics and Business, as well as the summer school Causal Inference for Health and Social Scientists.
