Advanced Trends in Education and Research of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology of Macromolecules

Comprehension of the molecular mechanisms of biological processes in living organisms very often paves the possibility to develop biotechnological solutions relevant for basic and applied research. Training students and young researchers, by using an integrated multidisciplinary approach can provide new professionals able to cope with the complex biological problems that need multiple expertise and competence.
The proposed CEEPUS network will include participants from various disciplines of Biochemistry offering regional integration in both education and research of life sciences enabling the exchange of students and teaching staff. The network will be established with the aim to enlarge possibilities for collaboration with the main objective of providing expertise and infrastructure for interdisciplinary research and training of future experts, allowing the students to get a better understanding of the research-related problems as well as to adopt and apply new competencies.
