This project, supported by the General Delegation of Flanders in the Czech Republic, complements the GAČR project BITE Brno (GA26-21820S) by developing a focused research line on the presence and mobility of Flemish populations in 12th–13th century Brno. The study is based on human remains from the burial grounds of the Church of St. James. Using isotope analysis, it aims to identify potential non-local individuals and assess the extent of Flemish migration during a period of major urban development.
