Project Translation and its Role in Teaching English Language analysis the potential of the "translations skills" and their usage in teaching English. It follows the tradition of linguistic methods and proposes the modifications how to benefit from the method in modern communicative environment.

Results

Thanks to the project, the basic portfolio of translation theory books and studies in the local library was enlarged. The results were so far presented at the conference Theories in Practice in Zlín. The international conference in Switzerland was unfortunately cancelled due to the financial crisis. But as the organizers would like to go dealing with the topics, the chances to have the results published in future as a conference proceeding is quite real.
