Anterior sacral roots stimulation coupled with posterior rhizotomy is a new treatment modality of neuropathic bladder in spinal cord injury patients with intact reflex arc. Midthoracic complete paraplegics, especially women, benefit most from implantation. Effectiveness of stimulators must be compared with convenctional care in controlled study.
