| Description | The chapter describes the process of early identification of hearing loss, possible ways of screening and the current offer of early intervention services for children with hearing loss and deafblindness in the Czech Republic. The chapter offers thorough information on the work of early intervention centres for families with children with hearing impairment and early intervention centres for families with children with visual impairment. The aim of the chapter is to highlight the importance of comprehensive care for persons with hearing impairment and their families as early as possible. |
