| Description | The review is meant as a general contemplation of linguistic reflections of lexicon is focused on the work Lexicon and Semantics by František Čermák, placing this work into a wider context of development of Czech linguistics and considering its position among other attempts at creating a lexicon compendium, which is a problem very difficult to grasp and treated in many different ways. Attention is also paid to positive and negative aspects of the fact that Čermáks concept of lexicon is significantly linked to corpus linguistics. |
