| Description | We present results of research, which we realised with basic school pupils. Our research showed that it is possible to use historical problems for excercise of subject matter, to develop thinking and as a motivational element to obtain pupils' interest in problem solving. The Frame educational program expects pupils to be able mathematize simple real situations with application of variables. Mathematical gifted pupils usually try to search for more difficult tasks. One of the sources of these tasks can be historical tasks collections and text books. There are introduced several historical tasks for the motivation of gifted pupils in the article. |
