| Description | The seminar participants visited the Czech elementary school J. A. Komenský in Daruvar and Kindergarten Ferda Mravenec (Ferda the Ant) in Daruvar. Participants also visited a Czech school in Končenice. Participants were familiarized with the educational system in these schools, attended the workshop with teachers and pupils. The workshop was a lecture on the history and contemporary life of the Czech minority in Croatia and seminar participants meeting with Mr. Bílek, representative of the Czech minority in the Croatian Parliament. During a visit to the Czech House in Zagreb heard a lecture about the education system in Croatia, focusing on the specific educational needs of children of the Czech minority. Aim of the event was the presentation of the findings of the research project and further impulses for research. |
