| Description | The aim of study is the incidence of cariogenic bacteria Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus spp . in children affected by early childhood caries (ECC ) and their mothers. The material was obtained by buccal swabs. The samples were evaluated using the test Cario -Gene DNA diagnostics for cariogenic pathogens by Protean s.r.o. Our findings support the hypothesis that the primary source of cariogenic infection in child is his mother . |
