Description The interior of the Chapel of St. Barbara near Buchlov Castle was geophysically surveyed using a non-destructive GPR method and the localized inhomogeneities were consequently inspected by a camera system. These procedures made possible precise localization and determining of the current state of the tombs of certain Buchlov estate owners. They also indicated the relics of the walls of the original Medieval religious structure which was situated in the central part of the sanctuary. A combination of these two methods provides an optimal solution to the task in terms of obtaining a significant number of information, saving time, and also being economically reasonable.
