Description Intermediality – which means connection and fusion of various mediums in artistic - educational projects – it was the main theme of our qualitative research. My paper presents process and results of my research, which was aimed to verification of following hypotheses: Intermediate instruments, which are used in education of art, support the abbility to learn and creativity by students (Department of Artistic Education on College of Education, Masaryk University, Brno Czech Republic). This kind of research has been studied by psychologist (Howard Gardner 1990, Jean Piaget 1970) but was not dealed in Education of Art (only short studies written by J. Slavik 2005). Intermediality in recent decades notes almost all areas of human activity and therefore of course affects the upbringing and education of all. For art education at the time of application intermedia in praxis typically uses only language skills but also the language used to communicate in other humanities as well as technical areas.
