| Description | Zdeněk Lhotský (born 1956) is a graduate of the Prof. Stanislav Libenský´s unique atelier of glass design department of the University of Applied Arts in Prague and is one of the founding members of the Tvrdohlaví (Hard Headed) group of artists. His art features glass design (cast bowls, plates and sinks) and molten glass sculptures. The Molten Glass Studio (Studio tavené skleněné plastiky) in Pelechov near Železný Brod realises the designs of Lhotský and other artists. Lhotský has been the owner of the studio since 1994. The interview originated as a part of the author´s project Gallery on its Way to Disadvantaged Groups. |
