Description The book: Social Work Practice in the context of resilience concept focuses on a new perspective of social workers practical training. Its starting point is a Strengths-Based Perspective. It is based on the fundamental assumption that the strengths of clients become natural resources through which they can achieve the desired changes in their difficult life situation. We decided to work with the resilience concept that supports the person (whether a student, client or social worker) in terms of their strengths and which supports their ability to cope with adverse life situations. Individual contributions are focused on those aspects of education that encourage resilience capabilities in students that make them able to manage the demands of practical social work. The ability to survive seems to be more than topical for social work in the context of the problems that it is facing today. The monograph is devoted to the question: How to evolve a resilience ability on practical training of social work students? Publication consist of number empirical findings which includes selected theoretical bases of practical training through resilience elements.
