Description The main aim of this paper is to introduce problems of emigration from Iraq since 2003, which was (and still is) challenge not only for the Middle East countries. Iraqis have been leaving their country since Saddam Hussein´s rule, but the highest numbers of refugees were noted after US led invasion in 2003 (total number of refugees was 5 million, from which were more than half internally displaced persons). Attention is especially devoted to evolution of situation in Syria and Jordan, because these two countries became main final destinations of Iraqi refugees.
