Description Design of a proposed form of bachelor´s degree study programme Conservation and restoration of hand-crafted works of art at Masaryk university (MU) is presented. Proposed bachelor´s programme is designed in a modular form with specialization on conservation and restoration of pottery, metals, furniture and nonpolychromic wood carving and painting and decorative techniques. Duration of study is supposed to be seven semesters. Programme is designed for certified specialists (DiS.), in this case it is possible to finish the study in 3 semesters, and for practicing experts from the field of conservation and restoration of hand-crafted works of art from a relevant module. Programme will be warranted by the Department of archaeology and museology of Faculty of arts of MU. Studies will be additionally provided by Department of chemistry of Faculty of science of MU, Department of the history of art of Faculty of art of MU, Methodical centre of conservation and Higher professional school of restoration Brno. Bachelor´s thesis will be meant as a scientific work focused on tangible cultural heritage preservation from the view of historic preservation/museology/history of (applied) arts and will be related to restored objects from their own conservation-restoration practice. Basic inputs for design of a proposed study programme are based on some of the results of projects of Higher professional school of restoration Brno, parallel project of Higher professional school in Turnov and their joint project partner - MU.
